Azleen here. As you know, I’ve extracted Samantha from the social media team to become our Community Manager. Her role is to establish and grow our business partners' network in Malaysia and Singapore. With a resilient partnership strategy, we’re going to see a sustainable lead-gen pipeline coming our way without relying too much on performance marketing and inbound.

Samantha will also lead the initiative to create a network of affiliates. We're working on a program right now. With the power of strong and wide affiliates across Malaysia and Singapore, it will strengthen our outbound marketing structure. You are right, affiliates will support our partnership ecosystem in feeding more high-intent, qualified leads to us.

They are our scouts, an extended ‘army’ of ground-level intelligence (read: informers who can introduce us to the rightful stakeholders), individuals who serve as our eyes and ears in the market to feed us high-intent data that leads to a potential quicker conversion.

We are going to offer them a significant income stream that supports a more comfortable lifestyle. For us, we gain a spy network that identifies business opportunities before they ever hit the open market. These individuals are our door-openers. They provide the specific intel, they facilitate the introduction, and our sales team takes it from there to close the deal.

The incentive is clean and straightforward. For every secured, paid deal, the respective affiliate shall receive a flat, one-time referral fee of RM1,500 per deal for Malaysia and SGD1,000 for Singapore. This is quite a significant amount for the significant effort they are making for us.

I’ve told Samantha that I want to scale the network to 300 affiliates in Malaysia and 200 across Singapore. We will execute this quietly, in 60-day sprints. Our phase one begins immediately: we must recruit and onboard our first 25 affiliates per country within the next two months. We will repeat this cycle until our network of 500 ground scouts is fully operational. Samantha will be recruiting internally for an assistant soon.

When it comes to generating long-term, predictable and sustainable leads, partnerships and affiliates are the best. It will help us combat declining sales before it happens. I’ve done this many times before, and it works.
